Oppo in India has launched its newest entry-level smartphone, the Oppo A17k.

This smartphone is the next generation of Oppo A16k which was released in India last January. Comes in two colors Gold and Navy Blue, the Oppo A17k has a body with a thickness of 8.29 mm and a weight of 189 grams.

The specifications of the Oppo A17k include a 6.56-inch screen that supports HD Plus resolution (1,612 × 720 pixels), 60 Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of up to 600 bits.

Like the previous generation, the Oppo A17k still maintains a punch hole shaped like a water drop where it houses the 5 MP front camera. Meanwhile, on the back, there is an 8 MP (f/2.0) camera equipped with an LED Flash.

In the kitchen sector, the Oppo A17k relies on the MedaTek Helio G35 chipset which has a speed of up to 2.3 GHz. The chipset is collaborated with 3GB of RAM with 64GB of storage capacity.

The Oppo A17k RAM capacity can be increased up to 7 GB by taking a portion of the storage memory as virtual RAM.

This phone is also equipped with a drawer that can accommodate a microSD card with a capacity of 1TB. The Oppo A17k uses the Android 12 operating system (OS) which is coated with the ColorOS 12.1 interface. In the battery sector, this phone is supported by a capacity of 5,000 mAh.
